I have a soft spot in my heart for Judge Barry Williams, because he is the man who presided over my son’s adoption finalization hearing, back 10 years ago. He was very friendly at the hearing and was clearly enjoying himself; he told us that he loved to do adoption hearings, because it was the one and only time that people actually wanted to be in his courtroom!

And now I’m finding out that underneath his friendly exterior, Judge Williams possesses nerves of steel and a determination to apply the law fairly and without favor. I am very, very impressed with him.

Sounds like the Judge who presided over the adoption (contested) case of our two children. He insisted on the picture and we sent him a copy.
