So much happy enthusiasm has been generated at the convention that I believe Cruz’s speech and actions will be in-kind...and he knows that he could be considered for an important position in the Trump administration.
Don’t see that happening, but I’ve been wrong before. If it reaches the level of support Ryan’s speech did last night, I would be shocked. If he mentions Trump more than himself, I’ll end up in ICU.
It’ll be interesting to see if Cruz can rise to the occasion.
