But of course, the controversy was put to rest when the author of the article admitted he was a speechwriter of Donald Trump, Jr.'s speech and penned the passage at issue.
Nevertheless, egghead academics claim it to be "self-plagiarism," which is ridiculous for anyone in politics.
Gotcha journalism fails once again.
He's made it personal, he's a dog with a bone in his mouth that he won't let go. Every hour they're running his interview this morning with Paul Manafort like it was THE news story of the YEAR!
It actually was fun this morning watching Manafort laughing under his breath at the oh-so-earnestly-outraged Cuomo during the interview.
(Cuomo never got to first base with the unflappable Manafort, much to his frustration, lol).
No wonder CNN is perpetually an also-ran in TV viewing ratings. This news nutwork features and showcases some of the most unattractive, obsessed, off-putting, motor-mouthed, twisted, petty, shallow and arrogant news-chatterers who sit en masse in its studios and on its panels dispensing pure leftist blather to undiscriminating audiences.
The one-and-only redeeming grace CNN has is that ratings-wise it somehow manages to remain a hair above the sinking, hopeless, hapless mess that is CNN's mini-me, MSNBC.

I happen to know that, in his Thursday night speech, Donald Trump plans to use the word “The” numerous times - just as Barack Obama did in a 2008 speech. Such blatant plagiarism!
The left is so desperate they want to make a campaign issue out of Trump's wife's speech.
It's not like she said "colored people time."
