excellent ;)
that’s one of those simple, but deep, one-liners he likes that people will remember

Hillary will believe in whatever her (Wall Street) donors want her to believe. What a difference between her and Pence. Pence will never be afraid to say "radical Islamic terrorism." Lists terrorist attacks, San Bernadino, Orlando, Paris, WTC.
Hillary Clinton;'s foreign policy helped launch ISIS. If I make one statment, Hillary will take ads slamming my foreign policy, but if you look at my calls, don't go to Iraq, "take the oil," Brexit (talks about immigration shoved down UK throat).
Some of the more fair reporters, about 30% of them, mentioned that I was right.
On to Pence and party unity. Mentions winning the primary in a landslide, it wasn't even close - "we" (me the messenger and the voters) got more votes than any other candidate in history. Thanks the loyal people who, in Cleveland, beat #NeverTrump. People are tired of a country with horrible trade deals, no borders, highest taxes, regulations that make it hard to start and keep a business ...

In the platform, going to get rid of the Johnson amendment so evangelicals can speak freely without losing tax-exempt status.

Says we are going to get rid of the “Johnson Amendment”==the IRS rule that muzzles political speech of churches on pain of losing their tax exemption.
(Something the GOP has failed to do since 1954)

Levin's publication is now trying to paint Trump as establishment:
GOP Establishment crushes conservative voices in rules committee
During the RNCs Rules Committee meeting, grassroots conservatives were crushed by the establishment. Openness, transparency, and the rights of the minority lost yesterday in Cleveland. It was a rout. Sure, the headlines coming out of the Rules Committee meeting yesterday were that Free the Delegates and Delegates Unbound were soundly defeated. Hidden under the headlines is the fact that time and time again measures to devolve power to the members of the RNC and away from the chair were soundly defeated - ________ As the meeting finally got underway any rule that would have placed limits or checks on the...

Spending a lot of time on religious voices having a voice.

Trump has played the media brilliantly over the past week, so that this announcement has become "must see" TV.
Now Twitter journalists saying "I thought this was about Pence." Instead, Trump uses hype he created to address the nation on every station.
And the stations are ALL carrying his message directly to the people.

Justifies the platform plank on the basis of giving religion a voice, a voice that LBJ took away.
Good on him. Next get rid of that "great society" garbage.

There is a sweet irony in Indiana being the supposed firewall for Cruz and now its governor is on the stage with Trump.
