Fellow Republicans were quick to praise Donald Trump's choice of Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate.
From former Republican primary opponents to party officials, Pence an establishment-friendly candidate was held up as "rock solid" and a "proven fiscal and social conservative."
I wish he wouldn’t have backed down on the religious freedom act.
Not going to prison. January 19 is going to be PARDONMAGEDDON. Hillary, Lois Lerner, Loretta Lynch....they’re ALL getting pardons. Obama is going to clean up his mess on the way out the door.
Oh, but Kevin in California, we DO care what she thinks! As a barometer of the morality of a given issue or choice, some of us don’t mind at all hearing from her.
We LIKE it that she disagrees...can you imagine the pandemonium that would ensue here if she thought he was a solid candidate?????
(I’m just being contrary here!)
She’s going to have another stroke, count on it.Prison or in the ground, either one works for me.
Shut up hag and get some more money from your woman head chopping Saudis.
The presumptive Democratic nominee’s campaign immediately released a statement in which campaign chair John Podesta called Pence “an incredibly divisive and unpopular running mate known for supporting discriminatory politics and failed economic policies.” ( a perfect description of Mrs. Clinton! )
Highlighting future attack lines Clinton may pursue, her campaign ripped Pence on social and economic issues, calling him “the most extreme pick in a generation” and highlighting Pence’s signing of an “anti-LGBT law” as governor and the fact that he “personally led the fight to defund Planned Parenthood” as a congressman. ( a perfect reason to endorse the Governor! )
Don’t like the witch but gotta admit I’m not overly impressed with Trump’s VP pick either
Of course Herself is going to rip at ANY candidate the Republicans come up with, but the Trump-Pence was not drawn up to please their rivals. In fact, the more Herself rips on Mike Pence, the more right the choice becomes.
Well Pence is Trump’s choice, and to paraphrase Donald Rumsfeld said (who also supports Trump), “you go to the general election with the ticket you’ve got, not with the ticket you WISH you got”.
And we expected Hellary to support his choice???
I would rather have seen Gingrich than Pence, but I am willing to trust Trump’s judgemet for his own pick.
We’ll see how it goes.
After all, Reagan picked Bush - and he still was a great president.
Coulda been worse...
I’m not thrilled with Pence, and I don’t like that Trump picked before Hillary - it smacks as a balm before the convention. I can see why Trump picked Pence and overall see it as a strong ticket he also has less baggage than Newt or Christie.
I keep asking people how impressed were they with Cheney?
And to recollect how much they loved Paul Ryan.
It was the Clintons, Bushes, Obamas, Kerrys, and others that have caused this horrendous mess in the Middle East, in Syria, in Africa, in Iraq, in Iran, in Germany, in France, if they would have keep their noses out of other people's business, there wouldn't be ISIS...they are the formation of ISIS, and now want to walk away, well people: You have blood on your hands, from Benghazi up to and including yesterday in Nice, France...so live with it...YOUR A BUNCH OF MURDERERS!!!
I’m totally ok with Pence and 100% supportive of Trump’s choice for who he wants.
Problem with Newt is you never know when he is going to eat his own foot.
Or stab you in the back.
Or throw himself under the bus.
If Hellary is that upset, then Trump picked well.
