At a minimum, loser protesting should not even be allowed within a mile radious of the convention center in order for hotel guests to get to and from their hotel in safety as well as be able to visit restaurants.

Maybe that is what they intend to do. Tell them you can protest over there and only over there on the concrete slab ensuring no tax paying motorists are stopped from their legal right to move about as they wish, in other words, no blocking streets.

There is a lot they could do to minimize the protests. They could even set up websites in real time showing the only areas protesters are allowed so that convention goers, employees to local establishments etc can go about their normal lives and prevent police officers from being harmed.

*5 mile radius should be a safe zone. Anywhere people have businesses including small business owners should be quarantined off. They pay taxes and shouldn’t have to worry about their patrons, themselves or their employees having to worry about their own safety.

How is it that those that espouse and broadcast that they are there to physically harm others be allowed that close to the convention center. Give them a concrete slab to mingle on or something. Stay off private property.

The terrorists already have planned to do just that, concerning delegates and hotels.
Word is they will close roads/interstates leading to the conv center. All in the name of protesting ya know......
