Nobody should have been complaining about slavery either before it was banned, huh. Or abortion now, or any other evil.

Since you mentioned it, Abortion will NEVER be outlawed in this Country. Heck, we can’t even get it restricted anymore. Don’t think it’s Right, but it is the Law.
Trying to compare it to ridding America of Slavery, an issue that cost a Civil War and 700,000 lives is ridiculous.
Just look at the Texas Case from a couple of weeks ago. All that had to do with was requiring Hospital Privileges for the Abortion Doctor, nothing to do with the Mother or the Fetus. It went down in flames. Even if Scalia was still alive it would have lost. Outrageous but not unexpected.
The best we can possibly hope for is what was spelled out in Roe v Wade, Viability. Medical Science has progressed so a even a pre 20 Week Old Fetus can survive outside the Womb.
