Those are good points. When Trump said he wanted an attack dog as veep, it seemed more like a Newt or even a Christie hint than a Pence-indicator. It would be an asset to have a veep who could, for example, eviscerate the MSM over such idiocy as the sheriff’s star.
At the same time, it would be nice if Newt could finesse this a little more. How many times can you announce you’re a finalist before people are tired of hearing it?
