So we hear “reports” that Trump’s children are leaning toward Pence but Trump has a gut feeling to pick Christie. Then Newt comes out and says it’s between him and Pence.
Makes me wonder if Newt is attempting a power play to try to push Christie out of consideration.
A Trump-Christie tag team? Katy bar the door. LOL. I think Newt is full of it. He’s not going to be the pick.
Christie has been loyal and, perhaps more importantly, has not made himself the center of attention. I still think he will wind up being AG. Pence will be the VP and Newt Chief of Staff. Rudy will head Homeland Security.
