Wouldn't it be something if Trump knew who his VP would be before he even decided to run! And that person has been lurking in the background, out of sight, ever since, while the media focuses on the "obvious" candidates.

Sometimes the best way to hide something is in plain sight.

My memory might be fuzzy on this but didn't McCain plant Sarah Palin with the press pool during the announcement? When her name was announced, she simply got up and walked right past them on her way up to the stage.

Trump seems like a due diligence, homework doing kinda guy and doesn't seem like the type to spring something as important as the VP job on someone, for their sake and his.

I don't know who it will be, but it's a sure bet that Trump and that person know and have known the plan for quite a while now.

I could be wrong, of course, but for any number of reasons Trump generally seems several steps ahead of the average radio, cable or antenna TV personality's predictions.

He's political, as the principle of politics is universal, but he's not a professional politician and isn't playing the same game as the talking heads are used to.

But, otoh, he seems to completely understand the talking heads' game and that's been a great deal of fun to watch!
