Since Nikon seems newly enamored with Pence, perhaps tell us why? Not being snarky; I was thinking I’ve read he’s a bit squishy but can’t find why.

He caved to the perverts and big businesses after signing a relogios freedom act. It was not his finest moment, and he was completely abandoned by everybody. He is not perfect, but he is no rino. Some will be concerned that he backed a touchback proposal in 2006. Anybody else selected who can help (or at least not hurt) Trump will have similar flaws and usually far worse. Pence's selection will firm up Trump leaners who have doubts. Pence also has BOTH executive and congressional experience. A plus for Trump. He also has a one syllable last name.

Sounds funny with the comment of a one syllable last name but actually it's not. Corker was totally out no matter if he was perfect.

Anyone who has been in office for a period of time will have bad moments as they say because no one can please everyone. I like him based on the fact he finally gave us not one bridge but two after 54 years. And another one down the road around Evansville. He didn't just talk about doing it.

I agree; none of them are perfect, even Trump. I saw several comments about some speeches he made in years past and they seemed generally favorable. I know for some that social issues are uppermost; they’re not for me. I would vote for Trump regardless, unless it’s something really crazy like Sanders.

But you’re gonna have to explain the one syllable last name reasoning to me. LOL
