I believe this is a mistake. I have no doubts that Pence is a good man but he will no draw the type votes Trump needs.
I’m edgy about Newt because of his baggage. But I’d take Newt, AND his baggage over milquetoast pantywaist Pence. Newt is a capable campaigner who can out LOGIC and out ARGUE anyone the Krintons can send out.

Does Trump not need the base conservatives? I don’t think Pence brings that. Most conservatives don’t care for him.
