“Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Taos are ‘liberal’”

You could safely add Silver City to that list. Silver City has gone extremely libtarded the past 20 years. They’ve tried to turn it into another ‘artist’ sort of community, which has failed miserably as evidenced by all the boarded up shop windows on the old main drag, but it’s not for a lack of trying. There is an ever growing sodomite population and they had dozens ‘proudly’ marching in the parade this past independence Day. One of the local doctors (a dyke) opened the first Bernie Sanders campaign office in the whole state, which had the effect of littering the county with Bernie campaign signs, and now all the Subaru’s, Prius’s, and old VW’s have Bernie bumper stickers plastered next to their Obama and “No Damn Diversion” stickers.

The white Libtards, coupled with all the hispanics who always vote democrat (because that’s what grandpa always did), are now populous enough to out vote the rest of the (very) rural county. The rest of the county (Grant) has always been strongly conservative, but the libtards have even managed to get strong footholds in the small communities of Gila and Mimbres made up of aging hippies and enviro-nazis. If it were not for the presence of the copper mines and the working ranches the whole county would be strongly socialist. It saddens me to have watched the socialists do everything they can to try and shut down the mines, cattle ranches, and the once thriving logging industry.

Sorry to hear that.

Yeah, I have noticed that all the nicer towns are turning left, slowly but accelerating. Dang tourists come in, like it, decide to stay, then they demand that their new town become just like the hellhole from which they escaped, except with maybe nicer scenery.
