WFAA female reporter says she did not hear any shooting, but did see SWAT storm out toward the back of the police building.
She says she has never been so scared, generally, as event unfold in the area.

Chief of police has asked news stations to not show or reveal SWAT locations.
Female reporter said officers she knew were carrying weapons on their laps in their cars, so as to be prepared.

Threat (Dallas) Dallas PD and other agencies in the Dallas area have been notified of a serious threat against law enforcement. There will be heavy police presence at Dallas Police HQ and law enforcement will be on high alert.
WFAA female reporter says they are looking for a male in/on top of the parking garage. Male is not a police officer.

SWAT has their own snipers positioned on strategic building tops in the general area.
WFAA female reporter says she has confirmation: NO SHOTS FIRED.
[You know everyone is on edge, so even slight noises can grate on their nerves.]

I’m not sure it’s a good look to have police locked inside while children are standing around outside. If there is a credible threat, why not clear the area?

Per sources inside the lockdown, there is definitely someone (who does not belong there) in the garage.
Some from the Houston group were seen in Arlington [between Ft. Worth and Dallas].
