My understanding is that the demonstrations are an attempt to get Demo voters motivated to vote. At the moment, they are not excited at all over Hillary.

This is absurd. Anarchy and the threat of losing everything you have worked for is not going to motivate people to vote for more anarchy.
I think you may be right, but the standard Demo method of getting people out is to hold demonstrations and produce conflict.
We’ll see what happens. It may be a different world.
