Scott Adams of Dilbert fame said corrupt trumps racist in 2016- that people would vote for Hillary over Trump if the distinguishing factor is she’s a more corrupt than they think politicians are but that racist = evil.
Major violence, though, that fits his narrative that it isn’t safe, there are groups being allowed to be violent, will lead to his victory because many people who don’t feel safe don’t care who is in charge as long as they are safe.
