If J. Comey doesn’t drink, he may start after this ‘Hillary’ episode. How can he live with himself, or hold his face up to his colleges. Surely, he has lost much respect of his subordinates, and eventually, if not already, they will show how diminished he has become in their eyes. People have many subtle though legal ways of showing less than the highest regard for someone, once respect has been lost.
Regardless of which candidate wins office, I would be surprised if Comey stays on in this position. If he does, it will be in an interim status while a replacement is sought.
The average joe at a Burger King would tell him he gave a known liar preferential treatment. The history book will say or imply the same thing.
