I think in the long run this shooting is going to be much more difficult to cover up. Much of the DPD was on the ground in the immediate vicinity while all this was going on. Multiple cops were shot and multiple cops were killed.
A lot of info is going to be leaked over the coming days and weeks. They got beat up pretty badly last night. The rank and file are going to become increasingly angry if they feel the truth isn’t coming out. Nobody wants to feel like a sacrificial lamb. What happened last night was very personal for these guys.
