It wasn’t a “peaceful protest.” The sniper was a part of it.
I saw the videos, both news and people on the street. People were walking peacefully. Everything was cool then suddenly shots rang out and people ran everywhere. It would have ended well had this man not done what he did.
“These were police officers who had earlier posed for photos with the demonstrators, shaken their hands and provided security for their rally.”
In all honesty, the police were there to protect the businesses that provide the tax revenues that house, feed, clothe, and school the black population.
