Ah, yes, the Lotus Elan.

Another car “lovingly hand built in Great Britain”. Even when it’s parked in your driveway, if you listen carefully on a quiet night, you can hear pieces falling off of it, and the sound of dripping oil. That, of course, assumes it will run long enough for it to get to your driveway.

Wow. That’s even smaller than the King Midget my buddy in high school was rebuilding.

I’m guessing that in Hillary’s administration, permission to drive that model will be given to businesses making cakes for gay couples.

To paraphrase a joke from a couple decades back:

“I just bought a new car! A Peel! Well, actually I got it in a Happy Meal.”

Yeah, if it was priced at maybe $2,000 it might be something fun to putz around in, but at $20,000, forget about it.

For only $21,000.00 you can be the envy of your friends on the golf course.

I'd rather have one of these:

- Made in the USA
- Two seater
- Meets all US safety standards
- Cruises at 80MPH, no problem
- 84 MPG (YMMV)
- $6800.00

Elio Motors.

Emma Peel from the Avengers, she was smoking hot! The Lotus Elan is nice too.

My aunt’s TR6 was very good at randomly falling apart and breaking down.

It was a sharp little car. If it only ran as good as it looked. I believe she still has it.

I guess it makes sense...you’re riding in your coffin already in case of a collision. It saves the family money.

The MG TC was known as a coffin riding on four harps.

A Reliant Robin? There was a green one in my town in MA until a few years ago.
