The protesters directed the police to the elevated location when the first shots were fired. The cops did not know immediately where the shots were coming from, and actually turned their guns on the protesters at first reaction.
It was the protesters who saw the shots ricochet off the concrete.
Anyone can see these Dallas protesters are not Ferguson goons. THAT is my point.
No details, and the words used were "in custody." I figure it will be hours. Another detail reported, in association with this person, is a suspicious package found nearby, package being secured by the Dallas bomb squad.
