I have no problem with this in general but the stupid bastards will take us with them with their insanity.
While I think this guy is a POS, I do think it was entrapment. He tried to dial 1-800-can I get a terrorist to help me. He got the FBI instead pretending to be terrorist. They took him out and blew stuff up (FBI’s explosives). They help put the bomb together using FBI fake explosives. They handed him an FBI phone and said dial this number. He did and the fake bomb did what it was supposed to do.......nothing. Then he was charged with trying to detonate a WMD.
If that is not entrapment, what is? Like I said, the guy is a POS and I am sure he wanted to do something, just not sure he could have gotten as far as he did without the FBI.
Seems like a charge of trying to join a terrorist organization would be the correct charge.
