Islam means peace only in the sense that once you submit—as a jizya paying subservient dhimmi or muslim convert—they will stop trying to kill you.
I recognize the point you are trying to make, but I must point out that should you become a Moslem of the “wrong” persuasion, you might get killed anyway!
Ask the Moslems who have been killed by other Moslems what “peace” is!
The Sunni/Shia conflict internal to Islam is the world’s longest running and most deadly Hatfield/McCoy type feud!
Those “Religion of Peacers” have been killing each other since Mohammed died in 632 AD!
They STILL cannot agree on who Mohammed’s rightful heir is!
There is NOTHING peaceful about Islam!
