This is madness.
Insanity.
A 5’9” male who weighs 176 pounds might be blubber, but just as equally and more likely, might be muscle.
A 5’9” female who weighs 176 pounds is going to be very overweight 90+% of the time. For a woman to be those dimensions, biologically it is only possible with an extreme and pointed physical training regimen that takes a huge amount of time, energy and dedication to adhere to. An injury (far more likely) or a pregnancy is going to kill that strict regimen quickly.
There are a very, very few women who are that size and fit. I have always held out hope that the USMC would not go down this road, but they are apparently no different than the other services in this.
Sadly.
One can only view what has been happening in the last seven years as willful destruction.
