Lindsey Graham doesn't sugarcoat his prediction: Republicans are going to get thrashed in the November election, especially among Latinos. And its going to trigger another run at immigration reform in Congress next year, the South Carolina senator says.
Ill tell you what Im going to do in 2017, the plainspoken GOP deal maker said in a recent interview. Im going to take the Gang of Eight bill out, dust it off and ask anybody and everybody who wants to work with me to make it better to do so.
Graham isn't the only one eyeing a revival of the Gang of Eight, the bipartisan group of senators that shepherded a sweeping immigration bill through the Senate three years ago only to watch it stall in the House a year later. Propelled by a Republican establishment eager to make inroads with minority voters after losing them by steep margins in the 2012 election, it was the closest Congress came in a generation to overhauling the nations immigration laws,
Several influential lawmakers see another opening for immigration reform in 2017, especially if Hillary Clinton wins and the GOP takes another hit among Latinos. Mitt Romney was hammered for his self-deportation rhetoric four years ago. But that pales in comparison to Donald Trumps vow to remove 11 million immigrants here illegally and calling Mexicans who cross the border illegally rapists and murderers.

Lindseed hasn’t got a clue of what’s going to happen in Nov.
Just live outside the city. There is much to do there all year long. Montana has a high State Income Tax, and property taxes are not low. Plus there is the whole Water Court adjudication problems. If you have enough dough to get past those, I’d recommend the place. JF’nK’s first wife lived out her life there. There is always Park and Madison Counties to consider too.
Bozeman got Californicated decades ago. Sure, there’s a bit of of conservative element left there, but they’re in denial about how libtarded it’s become.
Being a LEGAL immigrant, I’ve asked people in “liberal” Maryland... if they think we should deport people here illegally. For the most part people are in favor of this...yes, there are some die hard lefties who screech NO HUMAN is illegal lol. And no one I have ever met thinks that they should be rewarded with citizenship... so I’m frankly confused as to who wants to reward them? Deport and then allow people in under a Guest worker program... for periods of time, similar to the J-1 visa. The problem will always be that there are not enough Americans who want to do certain jobs. I know some of you will argue this, but in the North East it is very difficult to find young people specifically young men,for certain jobs. I have friends in construction who go to job centers and never get takers for any sort of sweat related labor, if the going rate is around $10-12 per hour.
He is correct, the REPUBLICANS are but not the Trump’s.
” Its the main base of Ted Turner.”
That’s Atlanta.
Here in Bozeman the city council shifts back and forth from leftist to right of center.
There are a number of conservatives in the College here. I was one for 12 years.
As a 9 mo/ yr resident of another large Uni Peoples’ Republic, I can identify one with just 3 mo. / year residence. I concur.
They had better not try it. Trump will veto it
