OR...he could have called for the press conference precisely because Obama has taken to the Crooked Hillary campaign trail. Perhaps he sees this as a political ploy to defuse and marginalize her Saturday morning grilling and wishes to douse some cold water and reality on the notion that she will skate free.
Like everything else on this thread, this is just speculation on my part. I remain positive that the FBI will recommend that she is held accountable for her misdeeds. Otherwise we owe folks like Gen Patreus a big apology. We will hopefully learn more at the 11am presser.
