I got Unfriended from Fakebook by a old Coworker.

I worked with her for over ten Years before I took early Retirement. She sent a Friend request and we got back in touch.

Before you know it, it was Hillary is God, more so from her other Friends than her.

Well, after a while I started nailing the idiocy being Posted. She and I agreed to disagree, but her Friends were out of their freaking minds.

One Woman, a gal in her 60’s, really tried to tear me a new one when I corrected her ignorance. No response to what I said, but she Posted a screed for the ages. The one thing I remember her saying is “anyone with a Uterus is smarter than you”. That one really cracked me up,

I replied that she has no idea who I am and for being such a Compassionate Liberal she sure could do better than taking the low road and calling me names.

She never Replied back, but a few days later I noticed there were no updates from my Friend. Not even a see ya later, just gone. I almost wrote her to ask what’s up, but the Wifey talked me out of it.

Not once did any of her Friends successfully refute my comments. Most didn’t even try. Their Minds are gone.

I'm guilty of Unfriending someone I hadn't talked to for many years. What pushed me was when she went off at Chick-fil-a and said she wouldn't buy from them and no one else should. It's when people went out the next day and there were lines to eat at their restaurants all over the US. I thought she wasn't worth my time.

I don't regret it today.

When you get down to how they think, it’s really no great loss. You still have memories of happy times when the stakes weren’t so high. But these days people have to pick a side. It couldn’t be more important. This is a civil war, and no less consquential for the nation because it is being fought in cyberspace.
