They didn’t call McCain ‘songbird’ for nothing. He was a shameless collaborator while in the custody of the North Vietnamese, and the best thing that could have happened to America would have been for that little grunt manning the SAM battery to have been a better shot in 1967.

John McCain would have served his Country far more honorably from Arlington National Cemetery instead of elected office.

Let’s just say he served, OK?

Because if his family connections he was a perennial screw up who was tolerated or shielded from the consequences of his foolhardy actions

as we say a “ loose cannon”

It’s entirely feasible that other good men lost their lives because of his actions which is a true forever hidden disgrace except from their families and those who served with them

It’s pretty hard to be disrespected by your fellow POWs but McCain was and is
