Of course it is people lying to pollsters. Ook at the polls for trust in government over the past 10 years and then compare that with the level of “claimed” gun ownership.

If cars sales.were hitting all time highs, would the press claim that it is because of a few buyers? That is so ridiculous it is farsical.
