I heard/read that a young man started climbing one of the boulders in CP when he stepped on something and it exploded very loudly. I believe he lost a foot and part of a leg. Poor kid. He seems to be very young and a good looking fellow. Not known if it was a firecracker of some sort or something more sinister. Happened near Elie Wiesel funeral. Don’t know if that was related.

Shot a lot of fireworks in my day, including cherry bombs and M-80s. I’ve seen more than a few that could take off a finger or mangle your hand, but none with the power to blow off the lower portion of your leg. And the location of the device seems rather odd as well.

Ain't no firecracker can do that kind of damage, not even an M-80. This is the work of someone with an agenda and access to weapons grade explosives.
