“What can you do with 22lr ammo”
8 yr olds can practice all day with it and it don’t cost nuthin’.
New Shooters can give it a try and not be scared off by the boom. Let’s em get used to it all a step at a time.
Disabled folks, and seniors with infirm hands, can practice the mechanics (and physics) of handgun use, learning technique and method, and gradually move up to a more useful caliber.
A person I know from Mexico told me that while growing up there he was aware of several people shot with .22. About 2/3 were killed and the other third were badly maimed for life.
That’s all well and good, but I’m curious why 22LR seems to be the toughest of all to get. If the government wanted to force a shortage on something, it seems they would buy up all the .223, 9mm, and 40mm stuff. I’m still scratching my head over why the big shortage of 22LR.
