Maybe, because EX-convicts are called Citizens/Free Men and afforded the same inalienable Rights as the rest of society??
If one is too dangerous to society, they should not be OUT of prison to begin.
We don’t have a tiered-society in this country (OK, if we were still a Republic, we wouldn’t have...we do have ‘protected/special’ classes of people. Still, wholly antithesis to our Constitution).
Now, if you’d wish to argue that those on the public teet vs., say, voting ‘rights’...I’d still point to the anti-(C) ‘laws’ and the 4th/5th/13th.
