Hannah Cohen: Disabled Woman Badly Beaten By TSA On Return Home From Brain Tumor Treatment
Inquisitr ^ | 1 July 2016 | Samantha Kilgore

Hannah Cohen, a young disabled woman whose mother describes as “partially deaf, blind in one eye, paralyzed and easily confused,” was beaten by Transportation Security Agents (TSA) after her flight home.

The young woman was then led from the Memphis International Airport, beaten, bloodied, bruised, and in handcuffs — and then booked into jail.

Cohen was returning home to Chattanooga after receiving treatment for her brain tumor at St. Jude’s Hospital. In fact, Hannah Cohen was returning home after receiving her final treatment for the brain tumor, and this trip back from St. Jude’s just marked one of many, as she has been flying back and forth from St. Jude’s Hospital for years. But instead of being able to celebrate the completion of her treatment, Hannah Cohen and her mother were subjected to rough handling and inexplicable treatment from the TSA and its agents, as well as local police in Memphis.

I’ve had my run-ins with TSA and simply reported them to the supervisor.

That doesn't mean there aren't some thugs in the TSA that would do such a thing. Your experience is really finite when compared to the big picture - this may be an aberration but even they occur too often with a big enough sampling.

I learned long ago (and many times since) that my "conventional wisdom" is only a loose guideline in this world.

We actually had two TSA officers at the Galveston, TX. ferry landing searching cars one night late. One was armed, the other not.

They walked a line of cars, asking folks to exit their cars (braving the horrible mosquitoes that night) and open their hoods.

Told my son...we're not getting out and get eatin alive by the mosquitoes. Besides, searching vehicles? No warrant? So I'm thinking in my head....lets just see how much authority these guyz believe they have.

I'm bout 25th in line. They come to the drivers side. I roll the window down about two inches. He asked us to step out. I tell him no and shaking my head no. He asked me to pop my hood...so I did. They checked under the hood, closed it and moved on.

Point to the story...these two jackasses were wielding power they knew they didn't have! Not knowing, folks just went along with it. Grrrrr

I’m going to ignore this childish comment.
I’ve traveled all over the world for business and pleasure.
Israeli security is the toughest in the world but they are polite and reasonable.

The TSA Nazi I ran into in Portland, OR probably got fired after I reported him to his manager.

Take your attitude somewhere else.

Obviously you didn’t ignore it ... thanks for the update on the Portland Nazi.
What they did to that child makes my blood boil (had I witnessed it in person, I may not be here today because I WOULD NOT HAVE COMPLAINED, I WOULD HAVE ACTED)
I like my attitude just where it is at thank you... feel free to ask your handlers permission to have an opinion, In the USA they would ask ME for Mercy (even at my age).
I too have traveled all over the World, 40 different Countries (41 if you count Ceylon and Sri Lanka as 2 different Countries) at last count and I understand what power and to what lengths they can and will go to demonstrate it ... The Canary Islands had me at Attention with my nose against a wall with 3 Soldiers arms drawn and aimed at me for more than a half an hour while they checked me out, it happens... Over There!
It was my Honor to wear our Uniform for 28 years so that that kinda Crap doesn’t happen HERE.
P.S. 7 Times I went to Countries where I did not ask permission and stayed as long as my CIC asked me to, no matter what that f’n country thought of it.
The TSA can test me, in MY Country at their own Peril.
Have a Great Independence Day, read the Declaration and the Bill of Rights it will warm your heart.

At least do the same thing to Hillary over the mishandling of classified e-mails. Let’s be fair.
