It is only “radical” in the literal etymology of the term:

Radical comes from radix: root.

Unfortunately, vernacular usage today makes people think it means offshoot.

To be radical means to be true to the beginning; i.e., to be true to Mohammed and his looting, raping, killing ways.

Radical communists are true to the original meaning of communism. Radical mohammedans are true to the original meaning of mohammedanism.

Well said, unfortunately, the terrorists are the real, devout Muslims, following their villainous “prophet”.... we have to hope that not too many of 1.5 billion Muslims get more serious about their evil “religion”.....
