There is yet another possibility. Not saying this is the case, but with the Clinton's we have to parse every word.
IF Lynch flew in on a different plane than the government-assigned one she met with Clinton on, both NPR and Rush could be right.
This was supposed to be a secret meeting. It was only the good fortune of a news crew being there for another reason and seeing it happen that allows us to know about it. It is perfectly possible for the government to assign a plane to Lynch for the purpose of having a meeting on board, and for her to fly in and out of the airport on a different one.
NPR never says it was the plane she actually traveled in, and I bet it wasn't. Fewer pesky records that way...
