Good point. I saw this reporter on Bill OReilly and was impressed by him. He was serious, low-key, and thorough. For example, he said Lynch had mentioned Clinton had been playing golf in Phoenix, and the reporter said he used all his contacts to find out WHAT Bill Clinton was doing in Phoenix besides meeting with Lynch, but came up empty. The reporter said, I'm not saying Clinton wasn't playing golf, just that I couldn't confirm any activity of his outside of his meeting at the airport. The temperature in Phoenix that day was 106 degrees. Bill Clinton is one month away from his 70th birthday, and has a history of heart problems. There's no way he was there to play golf under those conditions. He was there to intercept Lynch as she arrived in town. He didn't go to all that trouble just to tell her about his grandchildren.

I got a feeling his visit was about the Clinton Foundation not the emails.

As GreenHornet illustrates it would make about as much sense for Bill Clinton to have gone to Pheonix to play golf on that date as it would for him to go to skinny dipping in lake Superior on Valentine’s day. It is one of those things that can be branded a lie on first hearing, no other evidence required.
