Would you be able to provide anything in the way of ball- park, rough estimate information regarding how much insulin pen usage costs, compared to the more traditional use of insulin syringes and vials? More? A lot more? About the same?

A very rough estimate. The pens are more expensive from what I have been told but I think their ease of use is probably worth it. Good Rx looks like it might be able to tell you what you want to know here.
