Ever since that time, the homeless appeared on tv news frequently when a Republican was president,then disappeared when a Democrat was elected. Anyone remember how often they were shown when Bush Sr. was running against Clinton, then immediately vanished when Clinton won? That is how long the media have been “making” the news.
The homeless disappeared along with words like “unemployment” and “McJobs” when Otoken was elected; I expect they’ll be back soon.
