If they follow the script they will blame Christians for inciting Muslims to violence.

We can be absolutely certain we will be told it has nothing to do with Islam.

Islam has been at war with everyone else since 622 A.D.

Here’s the problem every middle eastern country has. The nation state is a western invention. There is no word in Arabic meaning citizen. You are a Muslim, not a citizen of a country. Your allegiance is to Allah, not a nation state. Turkey, Syria and others are bastardizations of the western nation state and a western style government with Islamic people. Islam is itself a political, judicial and war mechanism. It is run by Imams. At best there might be a caliph There are no presidents or senates.

Trump has to take responsibility for the tenor of his campaign.

Well, he has a golf course in Scotland, which is almost Turkey, right? It's in the same country, anyway. No wonder England wants to leave.

Yes, I am sure they will say some white male Christian, heterosexual, 2nd Amendment, constitutionalist, America loving guy did it, and we must control all of them. What scum bags they are.

Turkey is not named after Ataturk. The Turkish people roamed central Asia for thousands of years and were always called Turks. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk was alive about 100 years ago. He was born Mustafa, and his second name Kemal meaning Perfection or Maturity was given to him by his math teacher. The name Ataturk means “father of the Turks” and was awarded to him by parliment.

I’m pretty sure that there’s a Hillary Clinton video on youtube that incited this violence.

It’s going to be tough for those aholes to blame it on law abiding American gun owners, the Second Amendment and the NRA but I still expect them to try. The trouble is, the 47% freeloading idiots feeding off of the U.S. taxpayers are going to believe them.

The liberals are pissed off because isis used bombs instead of guns. They were suppose to use guns so Omoron could go and lecture them about gun control. Somehow they didn’t get the message.

You and I call it ISIS. Obama calls it ISIL, and Kerry calls it Daesh, D-a-e-s-h, because that's the term the French like. I'm not making that up. Daesh is the term that the French like, so that's what Kerry uses, and because it's, in his mind, much more sophisticated to use the term Daesh. It also conveys more respect for the group than to simply call them the derisional ISIS.

I have a slightly different interpretation of Kerry's use of Daesh. Kerry intends to confuse the public as to who the Islamic State is and what the group wants. George Orwell's essay "Politics and the English Language" advised against using foreign terms were an English equivalent is available. When I refer to Islamic State, I always use the words "Islamic State". It is a simple English term that accurately describes who the group is ("Islamic") and the group's ultimate goal (setting up an Islamic "State").

I avoid the use of ISIS or ISIL because those abbreviations hide the Islamic nature of the organization and don't provide insight into the group's goal. My understanding is that Daesh is an Arabic contraction of some sort. Why use an Arabic contraction? American's don't know the meaning of the Arabic words used in the contraction, and the contraction necessarily loses a little meaning (just like using ISIS or ISIL does).

George Orwell in Politics and the English Language:

Never use a foreign phrase, a scientific word, or a jargon word if you can think of an everyday English equivalent

Let’s see? Guns? Nope, strict gun control in TU. Bombs? No, strict explosive control.

Republicans? No Republicans there. Bush? No, he’s in TX.

Then what could it be? I know, the 2nd amendment.

Oh, wait...

How many times has Iran been attacked by Islamic Jihadists? I think Rush comes close but misses the ‘Caliphate’/point. Neither Turkey nor Saudi are theocracies...

IMO, There was an article last week about Turkey and Israel signing an agreement of some sort and the Turk signing said it was time to beyond this Israel/Arab conflict. Maybe this terrorist attack is a warning to other Muslim nations to get back in line. You are not permitted to talk with Israel!
