Did we ever think we would see the day when the New York Times would willingly acknowledge a battle over globalization?
And it not just the New York Times. Here are some other mainstream media headlines mentioning globalism:

The mainstream media usually doesn’t acknowledge globalism as an issue. Like central banking it is simply asserted as a fact, as natural as the air we breathe.
But now all of a sudden we are finding out it is a policy after all – something made by the hand of man and not descended from on high.
And thus what may be a new dominant social trend: Globalism versus Populism.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news in this regard.
We had several hours of euphoria after Brexit before we calmed down and realized it might be “too good to be true.”
And HERE is an article by Bernard-Henri Levy on the new emergent meme. Levy is an eloquent, leftist, French philosopher and writer:

I think if Trump wins the election in the US this fall, England and America will have, and will lead, a strong resurgence in both countries. Leading incidentally to stronger relations with our trading partners.
If however Hillary is victorious, the world will slip into the massive globalist mess, into which we have been rapidly descending for the entire last generation.

This effete snob only likes surrendering his nations sovereignty in the abstract. If a One-world, centralized government began enforcing policies that he disliked, the the “sovereignty of France” would be invoked as a bulwark against these policies. As it stands, he imagines a one-world government in the hands of those who think very much as he does. The oppression of national/cultural identities at the hands of globalists is quite simply a non-starter for the vast majority of people.
Only those who subscribe to the cult of “mankind” or the cult of the radical “individual” want to see secular socialism imposed on the world from the top down. And before the Libertarians chime in about how they abhor one world government, I can only mention my experience with the Libertarians whom I blog with (or whose blogs I read). They are all open borders, anti-nationalism, anti-group, socially liberal, and radically “free market”. They get bent out of shape when a collectivist economic policy is impose from the Feds, but if a socially liberal policy is imposed from the Feds, it’s a “defense of an individual liberty”.
Most of them find Trump to be more abhorrent than Hilary or Obama. It’s really made me rethink the Libertarian tendencies I’ve had over the past decade.
What a putrid pile of steaming offal this thing is.
They never consider what the EU might have done to make British voters soooo mad.
AND... they who provide the mobs if things don’t go their way.
Trump win will have global consequences. It will embolden and energize all people roughly sharing his view. They sprang up before Trump in Europe where establishment is so overwhelming that they were slow to expand their political power. It will gain a critical momentum. However, it is not just Europe. Many countries in the world have large portion of population worrying about rampant immigration, frequently illegal, and global business interest tacitly encouraging it to advance their interest. Exporting some of their mindless social values also makes people uneasy. Things are way beyond guaranteeing basic human right, reaching the level of micro-managing all social aspects of countries.
Well, unfortunately, Mickey seems to have been made gay......and Minnie Mouse has been made into a surly, man-hating, moody bi0tch who hates her father....covers herself with tats and piercings. ...and has multiple abortions while bragging about it on social media sporting a ‘duck face’.
My, my, how we’ve ‘progressed’.
Whatever. As I know all too well, the British media and political establishment are doing everything they can to nullify the Brexit vote. It’ll be a heck of a fight regardless.
The globalists didn’t expect this. They will do what they can to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Fortunately the tired old canard of right versus left is falling away and the reality of globalism versus freedom is taking it’s place.
So maybe now we can see it– this is what the preppers have been getting ready for.

It’s wonderfull to be right and never have to argue. You get to simply call EVERYONE who disagrees with you EVIL.
Does this idiot not realize that if “globalism” and One World Government takes over, his kind will be the FIRST to be eliminated???
