At your insistence I have taken some time to look into this and an even clearer picture emerges. At this point it is clear that there are “layers” of what was revealed immediately which has been known all along to be BS. There were layers of info that were “discoverable”, and there are layers that are “Compartmentalized/Eyes Only/ Need To Know”.
So there is info that needs to be ferreted out and squashed if it begins to dribble out. Interesting. So what Gowdy trots out is in the layer of “ embarrassing, not revealed, but not proscribed.
Look at his behavior! He was a roaring lion on the way in. The Gowdy I saw the other day was pretty subdued. My guess, he thought he was gonna be able to pry info out of the proscribed layer. Never gonna happen but if you track the story down you can see in the hearings on both the question and answer side they are doing a little dance around the “secret report”.
