I have debated anti-vax people on several websites and found them frequently vicious. It is a religion to many of them. Logical points are dismissed in favor of junk science and emotion.

Maybe. But they just want to be left alone with their science, or junk science, as the case may be. I don’t begrudge them that.
Fixed it doe ya.
Peo0ple who don't want to play Russian roulette with their kids aren't demanding that you follow suit - whereas, the 'vaxers" want to take the choice away from them.
There's way to much credible evidence of harm to demand the choice be taken away from parents.
What happened to a person's right to choose?
No, not religion. Freedom! Freedom to research and make informed decisions for our families based on conscience. What part of faith, freedom, and conscience do you not agree with? Oh and don’t tell me it is settled science for those who actually know something. I have graduate degrees in science and teach at a Big 10 University.

This thread stands as a testament to the viciousness of pro-vaccine arguments. Note how they are getting progressively more foul-mouthed and abusive as the conversation continues.
For the record, I haven’t even stated a position on the issue, I’m merely pointing out the logical flaws in the arguments made, which are global warming arguments to a “T”.
As opposed to the settled science on vaccines, just like the climate change settled science, right?
