Why do pro-EU people say leaving the EU is a “self-defeating ideology?”

There's absolutely nothing to back such assertions, except hot air.

All of the pro-EU types are socialists. That is why they force a “social market economy” on the member states by treaty. All anti-socialist ideas are “self-defeating” even if they are not.
