Yes, it also fooled the Brexit people who thought they had lost!

Well, it was looking pretty gloomy when I went to bed last night. When I had checked the polls early on, Brexit had a substantial lead. But that lead kept shrinking throughout the evening, until Brexit was only four or five thousand (~1% of the total counted vote) ahead.

I had to remind myself that early election returns can turn out to be wildly inaccurate. I am glad that they turned out correct, in this case! I hope that other freedom-philes in Europe follow the lead.

Negotiating trade agreements for the benefit of everyone is one thing. Banding together and creating a massive overbearing government accountable to no one is another.

And notice how long it took to count the votes, in a country with fewer people....

Hours, as opposed to minutes.
