I cringe whenever they talk about “common sense.”
What they mean is their plan and anything else is unreasonable.
In addition. all this talk about mental health checks. . .recall these are the same people that include on health care history questionnaires a question about home ownership of firearms.
Moreover, imagine the “logic” of the left:
“You WANT a firearm. . .you must be nuts—DENIED!, but, if you don’t want a firearm you must be sane.”
Easy to imagine. . .
Liberals brand themselves as smart, love, tolerance. Those who disagree are stupid, haters, bigots, evil. The “common sense” meme is simply another play on the “smart”. All the smart sane reasonable people agree with us, suggestion those who don’t are ignorant or stupid.

Yet their definition of civility is “don’t disagree with me”.
