Every single one of them must be severely punished for trying to thwart the will of the people. This stuff can no longer be overlooked.

Gun ownership is at an all time high and growing greater every day. Gun stocks are soaring and a very large percentage of the guns are AR's. There are more AR-style rifles sold in the US than any other model.
Everybody but the blind, deaf, and willfully stupid understands that the Orlando shootings were committed by an Afghan muslim targeting a gay bar.
Everybody understands that this lunatic's death cult, errr... "religion", condemns gay people to death. This was a premeditated act of terror. It was different than if he'd just walked into some place at random. He knew who he wanted to kill, gay Americans, so anybody who pretends to not understand his motivation is just laying down a smoke screen.
And democrats in Congress pretend that none of that had anything to do with that. The fact that he used an AR-15 compelled him to do it. Seriously, can there really be that many corrupt congress critters stupid enough to try to sell that to the voting public?
If the democrats try to use this as a campaign issue, it will torpedo them below the water line, just like it always does.

This tactic is used by groups who don’t have political power to bring change. The literally last group of people who should need to use this tactic are members of Congress who, by definition, have power. If they were paying attention, the people who elected these idiots would be asking “Why aren’t they using their political skills to bring people to their side of the argument?”
The Constitution specifically calls out how they can bring about the change they want. If they would rather act like children screaming, crying and throwing tantrums to get their way then they should be treated as children.

This will all backfire on them.

If Ryan was smart he’d put Dems on the spot with votes on increased penalties for gun crimes. But he won’t do that because he’s a surrender monkey who generally supports the progressive agenda.

When hasn’t Congress been a circus? Not enough times, and this is an ongoing problem!

They wish.
But it will not be the case.
The issues that Americans will vote on in November are the economy, immigration, healthcare costs and national security.

"Up to 100 million not working or have given up int total by going off the roll."
Be aware that that figure includes retirees, schoolchildren, the incarcerated, and the institutionalized. It does not mean that there are 100 million unemployed people who are seeking work or have given up seeking employment. Having said that, the figure is still historically high, meaning that workers are partially or wholly subsidizing more non-workers than ever before.

It will be a key issue on which the Democrats will get obliterated on.

I read on another site that they are having Chick-Fil-A at their sit-in. I thought the democrats hated them?

Go and line up a hundred working-class Democrats who live in urban areas. Ask them....who owns a weapon. It’ll be an overwhelming number. The blunt truth is that Democrats can’t even bring this to the top of their own voting group because a majority won’t buy into the argument.
