Weird, because the Wesley brothers, and the English Methodists of the 19th Century were zealots. I believe that the Salvation Army came out of the Methodists (I could look it up ... but I'm lazy), and in the 20th Century you had George Dempster searching out the lost for Christ.
I disagree with a lot of their theology, but they were pretty zealous in yesteryear.
I, too, salute the Wesley brothers for making significant contributions to Christian theology. And George Dempster for his missionary zeal. Where are there modern day counterparts?
Mostly busy trying to import the third world to America, especially the variety which will never embrace Christianity.
