I just watched this (finally). I was disappointed that they made little to no effort to include the layer of decision makers above the military command. They clearly illustrated that a relief force was available and ready to go - they were just waiting on orders. I think it would have been appropriate to show the frustration on the part of the rapid reaction force (and the f-16’s out of Aviano airbase in Italy) just as they did with the contractors who wanted to go rescue the ambassador earlier.
The message of inaction of was too subtle.
