To quote someone above:

Losing is a bad thing too.

I was told back in February by an avid Trump supporter that Trump would not need or want the support of any Cruz supporter in the general election.

And that mentality has taken firm hold.

And worse, when someone who has long supported Trump questions any of his actions or statements, they are attacked by this same brand of supporters.

There are sore losers in any race, no question about that as all, but the only thing worse than a sore loser is a sore winner, especially when you need to attract support from the people you defeated.

I have my issues with Trump, and I have expressed them before, but last August when I said that I thought Trump had a real chance of taking the nomination, I also said that were he to succeed, I would happily vote for him, though he was not my candidate of choice.

For that statement and sentiment, I have been swore at, threatened, mocked, and smeared by those who should welcome my support.

I have no problem with supporting Trump, but apparently a lot of Trump supporters have a real problem with me voting for him because I am not politically correct enough.

Bad winners? The amnesia of Cruz supporters is breathtaking. The primary was a two way battle. Ted Cruz gave as good as he got. Yet for some reason that is all forgotten by sore loser Cruzers. And this has continued even after Cruz left the race. Who poisoned the “unity” well with a press conference tantrum the day he “suspended” his campaign? Who soon after threatened to reenter the race?

Trump has been quite gracious to Cruz lately. Unfortunately, the same can not be said about Ted Cruz. He selfishly and unpatriotically continues to divide the GOP. Ted Cruz’s self interested behavior has nothing to do with Trump or his supporters. It is far past time for Ted Cruz to choose: career or country. That should be hard choice but apparently it is for Ted Cruz.
