I’m not advocating for Hegel...but I’d argue the physicist in the artical is arriving at the same conclusion as Hegel by other means. Hegel believed in “a God”.

hegel’s god arises out of the self-awareness of beings, thus Hegel’s god is a creation, contradicting Hegel’s first principle.
